An Evening with Martin Short

University of Arizona Hillel Annual Benefit

The multifaceted Martin Short will perform on Sunday, March 9, 6:30 pm, at The University of Arizona Centennial Hall. Proceeds will benefit the University of Arizona Hillel Foundation.

Martin Short made his big screen debut in "Three Amigos" and has continued to land comedic roles in releases such as “Inner Space”, “Mars Attacks,” “Jungle to Jungle,” “The Big Picture,” “Father of the Bride,” and “Father of the Bride II.” 

Martin has also written, produced and starred in highly acclaimed comedy specials for television for which he won two Cable Ace awards and an Emmy Award. He also received accolades for his work on the stage, earning a Tony Award nomination, a Theatre World Award and an Outer Critics Circle Award for the Broadway production of “The Goodbye Girl.” In 2003, Martin starred in “The Producers” at The Pantages Theater.

In 2005, Martin wrote and starred in “Jiminy Glick in La La Wood.” Most recently in 2006, Martin starred in FAME BECOMES ME, A Musical Comedy, on Broadway which he also wrote.
