ENTERTAINMENT DEPARTMENT HEAD

Looking for an energetic and motivated individual with performance experience to serve as head of the Old Tucson Company Entertainment Department.  Must have experience in supervising employees, and with theme-park or similar live entertainment management. Must be well organized, detail-oriented, reliable and have good follow through skills.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Overall administration of the Old Tucson Company Entertainment Department.  Meets budgetary, administrative and other goals as set by the Company. 
• Oversees departmental areas including Stunt Cast, Musical Cast, Technical Services, Wardrobe and Tour Guides. 
• Creates (writes, directs and choreographs) new live shows for performance. 
• Inter-Departmental coordination of various departmental Creative Teams. 
• Oversees the Department in meeting the needs of the Company.  This includes the creation and modification of shows, covering Group Sales, Film, Education and other special events; scheduling shows around the needs of the company and meeting all pertinent deadlines. 
• Other duties as assigned. 

Position requirements: Ability to assist in direction and scripting of shows, ability to perform basic typing, experience with MS Office (Word, Excel); 2 years experience in theatrical production and/or a 2 year degree in either business administration or performing arts preferred.  Experience with stunts, live theme-park show production, vocal performance and/or dance choreography is considered a plus. 

This position reports directly to the CEO/General Manager

This is a full-time, exempt position with benefits. 

Flexible Hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays) are required.
