Tucson, Arizona--
Pima Community College Theatre Arts presents Philip King’s outrageously funny British farce “See How They Run” directed by Mickey Nugent. Nugent directed last season’s successful comedy “Picasso at Lapin Agile.”

Seeped in nostalgic 1940s World War II period and set in a village outside of London, the play revolves around a nosy spinster’s conviction that the vicar’s wife in having an affair. Her attempts to expose her take on a life of its own as one ridiculous situation after another unfolds. A bumbling stream of characters including an escaped German prisoner of war, a handsome actor, a local priest, a visiting bishop and some meddling neighbors, romp hilariously over one another as they run in and out of each hilarious scene. “It’s a good old fashioned comedy—a belly laugh of a show filled with broad characters, sight gags, over-the-top funny schtick and laughs galore.” exclaims director Nugent; adding “It’s a rollicking good time…and we all can use some of that now-a-days.”

The play runs November 4-15 in the Center for the Arts Black Box Theatre. The Pima Community College Center for the Arts is located on West Campus at 2202 West Anklam Road, Tucson (just west of downtown). For ticket information contact the box office at 206-6986 or centerforthearts@pima.edu.

A photo call for the media is scheduled for Tuesday, October 20 at 6 p.m. in the Center for the Arts
Black Box Theatre. Director Mickey Nugent is available for interviews by calling 520-661-8052 (cell phone) or e-mail micnuge@aol.com.
