Doors Open / Sign-In: 6pm | Discussions / Activities: 6:30-8:30pm
Armory Park Center, 220 S. 5th Avenue (On 5th Ave, S. of 12th St)

You, your friends and colleagues are invited to the monthly Water
Festival Community Brainstorm Gatherings and participate in THE 
WATER PROJECT, March 26-28, a festival that celebrates, educates and
facilitates creative problem-solving for our most intrinsicly precious
and endangered natural resource–water–and features a performance,
art happenings, films, info/vending tables, panel discussion and water
ritual. The Festival is developed through cross-sector collaborations,
the Community Brainstorm Gatherings are opportunities to learn more
about the Festival, collaboratively map ideas and partake in a
proactively creative experience.

• Synthesize water issues into creative expressions for the Festival
Performance and Art Happenings
• Envision creative and functional Festival Outcomes and Actions
• Participate in a creative exercise that results in a visual piece
• Sign Up for participation throughout the Festival

Please RSVP to help determine the amount of snacks to provide by
replying to info@WaterProjectFestival.org. If you are unsure of your
schedule or can attend only part of the time, just come- we'll see you
there!

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION + SUPPORT

• CREATIVE PERFORMANCE: Get your creative juices flowing! Have you
never performed before but are willing to try or are you a
professional performing or visual artist looking for an opportunity to
work with fellow community members? From beginner to advanced movers,
actors, puppeteers, stilters, costumers, prop makers, etc. of all ages
and abilities, be part of the Festival highlight through creative
expression integrating water issues. Outrageously fun and empowering
through a unique collaborative process...


--- PERFORMERS ---
Be dancers, actors, puppeteers, stilters, singers...
@ Rhythm Industry Performance Factory, 1013 S. Tyndall Ave. (1 block
W. of Park, S. of 20th St.)
Weekly Rehearsals:
GROUP 1: Saturdays 4:30-6:30pm, starts Jan. 23rd
--- and / or ---
GROUP 2: Mondays 6-8pm, starts Jan. 25th
(NOTE: Can be in one or both reheasal groups, which will create
different scenes that will be put together closer to the Festival
dates.)

--- PRODUCTION ---
Make costumes, puppets, props, make-up, tech...
@ Skrappy's, 191 E. Toole Avenue
Saturdays, Noon-4pm, starts Jan. 23rd


• ART HAPPENINGS: Sideshows, painting, sculpture, poetry, live
music, etc.

• VOLUNTEER: There are many fun aspects of the Festival that need
your assistance and enthusiasm.

• SPONSOR / VENDOR: Provide info, products, wares, food, etc. while
also financially supporting (tax-deductible) the Festival as a non-
profit, business or artisan. Your generous support and participation
is very valuable to the Festival experience and have benefits.
