Subject: ACTRESS & ZOMBIES NEEDED!

Production:  “The Cordial Dead”

Producer:  Rosie Zwaduk, Cozy Seal Productions

Director:  Jonathan Ziegler

Writer:  Natalia Lopez

DOP:  Ray Thomas

Audition Date:  Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm

Shoot Date:  Saturday, Feb. 20th from 4:00pm to 11:30pm

ACTOR’S/ACTRESSES:

Female Lead:  Early to late 20’s, average-to-athletic build.  Non-speaking role, however we need someone with great facial expressions (especially “frightened”) and a great scream.

Zombies:  Male/Female, 18 years old or older, any race, build, etc.  15-20 needed.

Preference given to those with “zombie experience” (ie; the Tucson Zombie Walk), but it’s open to anyone who would like to have fun on camera playing a zombie!  Zombies will need to show up to the shoot in your zombie outfit and make-up.  (Though we will be providing/fine-tuning makeup, you will need to come in your own clothing.)  Non-speaking parts, however we’ll need great moans and shuffles.  (Old-type zombie-shuffles; Shaun of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, etc.)  The best outfits/make-up have the best chances of being featured on film.

AUDITION INFORMATION:

Female Lead: Audition will consist of direction, reaction and your own personal interpretation; there will be no cold-reading and no need for a pre-practiced monologue.  If you are interested and available for the shoot date, please send headshot and resume to Rosie Z. at cozyseal@gmail.com

Zombies:  We will not be holding auditions for Zombies, however you must contact us prior to Jan. 17th to be considered (first come, first serve).  If you have a Headshot and/or picture of you already zombied up, that would be great!  Location information will be forwarded to you upon acceptance.  Contact Rosie Z. at cozyseal@gmail.com

OTHER INFORMATION:

Compensation:  This production is a low-budget, independently produced short.  Though it won’t be much, there will be a small stipend paid to most actors/crew.  Points will also be awarded in the event the project makes enough back to re-coup production costs.  Actors will receive credit.  There will be snacks and a meal provided by El Jibaro Catering Co.

Make-Up:  Do you have skills in (or a high desire to learn) special effects make-up?  We will need a few additional make-up artists to work under our Make-up Manager for this production.

Production will be shot on HD Video with professional equipment.
