AN EVENING OF ORIGINAL COMEDIES AND FULL-FACE MASK

TUCSON—ETCETERA Co-founder Matt Walley has returned to Tucson with a new company specializing in “devised theatre.” The first offering, WONDERHEADS! will be hosted by Live Theatre Workshop in celebration of the sixth anniversary of LTW’s

late-night series, ETCETERA. The evening consists of two original plays performed in full-face mask, a unique theatrical form that has the power to be both absurdly funny and enchantingly poignant. Winston’s Last Puzzle features three strangers who find themselves thrown together for what becomes the most bizarre and remarkable adventure of their lives. In Grim & Fischer, Death meets his match in Mrs. Fischer, a tenacious grandmother who isn’t ready to breathe her last. This woman’s will to survive takes imaginative flight in a showdown with Death himself! Performed and created by the ensemble, this is a must-see night of physical performance. WONDERHEADS! will be hosted by Live Theatre Workshop at 5317 E Speedway on February 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, and 20 at 10:30 PM. Admission is $10. Immediately following the performances, there will be talkback sessions with the actor-creators.
