Nine Buddhas is shooting a short psychological horror film in three scenes. The opening scene is a young woman in a cotton night gown who is trying to hang herself, but is rescued just in time and placed in a small bed in a state fluctuating between consciousness and unconsciousness. We see that she is pregnant. In the second scene, three elderly religious women are attempting to convince a Catholic priest that her conception was immaculate -- that she was actually a virgin and that she conceived through the Holy Spirit. He's not buying it (because he knows the deceitful ways of promiscuous young women). The film ends in a shocking revelation of the actual father.
Young Woman -- 18 to 30.
Priest -- 25 to 80.
Three mature women -- 40 to 80.
