KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN

DEADLINE: SUNDAY, JAN. 9 @ 2:30PM

The 29th Street Coalition Community Mural Project is a community initiative that serves youth from five Tucson AZ neighborhoods with civic engagement projects that lead to the beautification of the neighborhoods where they live, learn and work. The area served by the 29th Street Coalition contains a high rate of crime and a majority of residents who live in poverty. There are very few activities for youth in the 29th Street Coalition area.

We would be honored to have you join us to make this project a great success! All donations are tax deductible!

THE WATER PROJECT:TUCSON'S SYNERGISTIC WATER FESTIVAL highlights arts integration to encourage public participation, deliver information, inspire ideas, and foster creative expression about our water future. The Festival features visual art, dance / theater performance, film, community brainstorms, speakers, exhibitors, and cross-cultural / interfaith water ritual. Initiating Greater Tucson’s World Water Week, we bring together artists, water experts, educators, engineers, developers, agriculturalists, conservationists, youth, and many other community members to engage in water issues from various perspectives. At the Festival, the public has an opportunity to learn about the water cycle, from natural to man-made systems, so that we can better respond to the realities and needs of our community.
