Tucson: The Bennett TheatreLab accepting students mid-Winter term

The Bennett TheatreLab is now accepting a few acting students for its mid-Winter term classes.

 

What:  Professional training in Stanislavski's Ultimate Technique of Physical Actions

           Classes Include: Voice and Speech, Conditioning Exercises, Improvisation on Actions, Monologue                                                         Preparation,  Scene Study and public performances

 

When: Classes meet on Sunday and Monday evenings, 6:30 to 9:30 pm.

            1 February to 1 March; 4 weeks, 8 classes

 

Where:  Historic Y, 300 E. University Blvd, Tucson, AZ (entrance on 5th Avenue next to ZUZI)

Philip G. Bennett, Artistic Director:  A graduate of the prestigious American Stanislavski Theatre in NYC,

Where he served as actor, instructor and Assistant Artistic Director under Moscow Art Theatre actress, director and author, Sonia Moore. (The Stanislavski System and Stanislavski Revealed).  He founded the San Francisco Theatre Academy and the Bennett TheatreLab in 1976; and is a three time recipient of the Hollywood Dramalogue Award for Best Direction.
