ZUZI! Dance Company presents its annual spring Gotta Have HeART! No Frills Dance Happenin’. Performers from Tucson and southern Arizona share innovative works—some for the first time. A wide range of dance styles offers something for everyone.

ZUZI! Dance Company, School & Theater presents its annual spring Gotta Have HeART! No Frills Dance Happenin’. A variety of performers from Tucson and Southern Arizona share fresh and innovative works from serious to silly at all stages of the creative process, some for the first time. Performances on the ground and in the air are interspersed with the off-the-wall antics of ZUZI!’s lovable MC Carie Schneider.

 

Friday’s Youth night performances include various groups such as Utterback Middle School dance team, Pistor Dance Ensemble, Capoeira Mandinga Tucson, TAZZ Dance Group, ZUZI! Company members and ZUZI! “Many Limbs” Youth Company, and many more. Saturday night features independent artists from Tucson and beyond including ZUZI! Company members Kali Lucey, Lauren Bianco and Mechelle Flemming, Musician Pablo Peregrina and Ernie Votto, Kathy Huataluta, Brandon Kodama, Funhouse Movement Theatre and more. With a wide range of dance styles and approaches, the evening is sure to offer something for everyone - come in, be moved!
