Voice Classes: Learn to Sing... Learn to Sing Well

Intro to Voice
This class is for the beginning student with little or no previous instruction. The basics of voice will be explored through vocal exercises, tone matching, etc. All ages are welcome.
When: Tuesday, 5:30-6:30pm
Cost: $50 per month, music included
Ensemble Singing
This class is for the intermediate and advanced voice student. The class will focus on 2, 3 and 4 part harmonies in order to develop quartets, octets, etc. while exclusively focusing on vocal fundamentals. Instructor will approve all enrollments.
When: Monday, 7:30-8:30pm
Cost: $60 per month, music included
Act Up! New Acting Workshop and Class Starts Next Week
Friday, January 14th marks the departure of an all new six week playmaking workshop with our very own James Gooden. AND starting Saturday, January 15th our brand new semester long skills building class, Acting Tech, will get you acting up! Musical Theatre Playmaking, 6 Weeks Workshop
A fun and exciting program of exploration into Musical Theatre. Participants will rehearse a short play that will include music and dance with an emphasis on acting techniques. Games and exercises round out the experience and the term will conclude with a performance for friends and family. Class will meet every Friday for six weeks beginning January 14th.
Age: 8-10 Years
Project: "Charlie Brown: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow"
When: Friday, 4:00-5:30pm
Cost:$100.00 per session
Age: 11-14 Years
Project: "Commander Hastings: Murder at the Equator"
When: Friday, 5:30-7:00pm
Cost: $100.00 per session
Acting Tech
An all new semester long, in-depth study of practices, theories, and techniques for use on the stage. Each separate topic will be explored for a two weeks before moving on to the next topic. Students can join the class at any time during the semester. But why do that and miss out on all the fun?!
Topics will include voice and movement, intentions and obstacles, character building, physical actions, motivation, script analysis, art and craft.
When: Saturday, 2:00-3:00pm
Cost: $50 per month
