The inspirational play in remembrance of the tragic events of the January 8, 2011, Tucson Safeway shooting.

 

Beowulf Alley Theatre Company presents Word Clouds, the inspirational play in remembrance of the January 8th, 2011 shooting, at Beowulf Alley Theatre, 11 S 6th Ave in downtown Tucson, Monday, January 7th at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $10 and are available at the door. Reservations may be made by calling 520 882 0555 or emailing theatre@beowulfalley.org.

 

Written in January of 2011 by Michael Fenlason, with additional music by Tristyn Tucci and lyrics by Tomas Ulises-Soto, Word Clouds tells the story of Tucsonans reaction to the January 8th tragedy through the eyes of a nurse, a teacher, a gun enthusiast, a singer, a businessman, a computer programmer, a preacher and his wife. A portion of the proceeds for Word Clouds will be donated to Demand a Plan, a non-partisan organization seeking to find solutions to gun violence.
