Youth Ensemble Auditions, No Frills & Help!

Greetings!

ZUZI! is very excited to be holding auditions for our newly reorganized Youth Ensemble dance company (THIS SATURDAY, February 27).  Plus, we've got a fantastic lineup for this upcoming No Frills (March 5th). And we are hard at work on developing new curriculum for our spring classes (March 28 - May 20).

*We are looking for volunteers for No Frills. We need help selling tickets at the box office and cleaning up after the show. If you would like to help out and see the show for free, please reply to this email.

**We are also looking to hire someone to do some marketing and promotion for us part time. If you're interested, please email a resume & cover letter to zuzisphere@gmail.com.

No Frills Spring 2016: March 5th

7:30 PM at ZUZI! Theater in The Historic Y
$10 at the door

ZUZI! Dance presents its spring, biannual No Frills Dance Happenin'. A variety of performers throughout Tucson and Southern Arizona come to share fresh and innovative works from various stages of the creative process. The works range from serious to silly and some are presented here for the first time.

"The 'No Frills' concert has come to serve two important purposes," says ZUZI!'s Director of Arts Education, Nanette Robinson. "It has become a popular venue for showcasing youth performers, schools, and youth choreography and it continues to be venue for local choreographers to take creative risks with new work." The show has been described as an open mic for dance and is a unique opportunity to perform in a relaxed setting. As the name suggests, there are no frills-no fancy lights, no fancy sets-just dancers, choreographers, and experimentation.
