Dance Audition (Musical Theatre applicants Only)
All Musical Theatre applicants auditioning in Tucson or Phoenix must participate in a dance audition where they will be taught a short combination. They will be evaluated on technique, application of style, performance and overall potential for growth.
Applicants should wear dance/exercise wear that is comfortable to move in and flattering to the body. Can include the following:
· Women: leotards, tights, fitted jazz pants, or dance skirts (above knee) and fitted shorts. Please wear character shoes & bring jazz or ballet shoes as well.
· Men: T-shirts, tank tops, leotards, fitted jazz pants or fitted shorts. Please wear jazz shoes or ballet shoes.
All Musical Theatre applicants auditioning in Los Angeles or cities other than Tucson/Phoenix, are required to submit a video file of 45-60 seconds of dance, in whatever dance discipline you are most comfortable. We are interested in finding a diverse group of individuals and want to see where you are in your dance training. Video should include full body and you should wear dance/exercise attire to show a clean line. Instructions about how to submit the dance video will be given out at the auditions.

You are not required to submit a second monologue through Acceptd, but you may provide a second monologue of your choosing if you wish. All Musical Theatre applicants are required to include a dance supplement, guidelines* (listed below). Include your headshot and resume, and state whether you are auditioning for Acting, Musical Theatre, or both.
