Invisible Theatre Salutes Tucson Jazz Festival!

Dear Jazz Fan:

We'd like to extend a rousing HSL Properties Tucson Jazz Festival "Welcome!" to our friends/patrons of the Invisible Theatre! Moreover, we'd love to invite all of you to a specific cross-selection of  Tucson Jazz Festival shows, for which you can purchase tickets at a discounted rate (20%!) by using the code: ITJAZZ

The first show we'd like to highlight is Storm Large "Stormy Love" at the Fox Tucson Theatre on Friday, Jan. 13 at 7:30 p.m. True to her name, she is an absolute commanding presence whose fierce show includes the American songbook, Broadway tear-jerkers, rock goddess anthems and some of her own gorgeous originals. For tickets, please follow this link.

The next show in our spotlight is the Anat Cohen and Howard Alden Duo, opening with the UA Jazz Ensemble, at Crowder Hall on Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 7:30 p.m. This promises to be a fantastic collaboration! For tickets, please visit this link.

Next is Armen Donelian at Scottish Rite Temple on Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 7:30 p.m. During Donelian's incredible 40-year-spanning career, which has included collaboration with the likes of Sonny Rollins, Billy Gomez, and Eddie Hart, he has consistently explored his Armenian roots in his music and co-produced (with producer George Avakian) Listen to My Heart, a Sony collection of jazz interpretations of Armenian folk songs. You can purchase tickets for this show here.

Last but certainly not least, Dee Dee Bridgewater at Fox Tucson Theatre on Friday, Jan. 20 at 8:00 p.m. Dee Dee has ascended to the upper echelon of singers, putting her unique spin on jazz standards. A fearless voyager, explorer, pioneer, and keeper of tradition, and now three-time GRAMMY® Award-winner, she recently won the GRAMMY® for Best Jazz Vocal Album for Eleanora Fagan (1915-1959): To Billie with Love from Dee Dee. You can purchase tickets for this show here.

Of course, you can find the entire Tucson Jazz Festival line-up HERE, and for a steady stream of exciting festival updates, we urge you to follow us on Facebook here!

See you at the shows!
