Tora Woloshin wants to take her rocking pop dance music to China in late May, but she's missing a dancer.
So the Tucson singer, who was a contestant on the inaugural U.S. season of Simon Cowell's "The X-Factor," has put out the call for female dancers interested and available to travel to China. She already has one dancer committed to the trip and needs one more to round out a show she hopes to take internationally starting with China.
This will be a follow-up trip to China, coming two years after Woloshin played a handful of shows in that country.
“The (Chinese) audiences are very interesting. There are always a lot of people out, and we are cleebrities. Americans are always treated like celebrities there,” Woloshin said.
Woloshin, who splits her time between Tucson and Los Angeles, made it to the judges homes round of "The X Factor" in fall 2011 and spent time with the show's host Simon Cowell in London. In the years, since she has toured with rapper B.O.B., opened for big-name artists and self-recorded/released several singles, EPs and albums.
Dancers interested in applying for the China tour should send a resume, head shot, full body photos and dance reel showcasing contemporary hip-hop dance styles to info@torawoloshin.com or torawoloshin89@gmail.com
Woloshin, 27, is working on new music including a self-produced single and EP that she will release soon, and a full-length album that she hopes to release sometime this year.
You can find her music online at her site, through iTunes and Amazon.
