AUDITION NOTICE

PLEASE NOTE CHANGES IN SOME PRODUCTION DATES

 

The Community Players, Tucson's Premier Community Theatre Company, will be having an open casting call for their upcoming 2017-2018 season.  Auditions will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 23 and 24, at 7:00 pm.  Actors should be prepared to do cold readings from the scripts.  Callbacks will be scheduled per director if they feel it necessary to read an actor further.  Actors should be prepared to read for more than one director if you fit the character needs for more than one play and have the availability and desire to commit to that particular project.

The 2017-28 season line up is as follows:

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

By Dale Wasserman        Directed by Vince Flynn

Performance dates; September 8 – 24, 2017

Rehearsals will start around July 15, 2017

Character Breakdown

13 Males, 4 Females

Varying ages

 

Last of the Red Hot Lovers

By Neil Simon       Directed by Joanne Anderson

Performance dates; October 6-22, 2017

Rehearsals will start around August 1st

1 male, 3 females

Varying ages

This will be a joint production between TheCommunityPlayers

And Speak The Speech Theatre

 

Greetings

Performance Dates; December 1 – 17, 2017

Rehearsals will start around October 7, 2017

Performance dates; March 9 – 18, 2018

Not auditioning at this time, will be held separately.

 

Murder At TheHoward Johnson's

Performance dates; June 8-24, 2018

Rehearsals will start around late April

2 male, 1 female

Age range 30-50

 

Again, open auditions are being held May 23 and 24 at 7:00 pm at
