Invisible Theatre continues its 49th Anniversary "Season of Love" with the Southwest Premiere of LAST TRAIN TO NIBROC by Arlene Hutton and directed by Managing Artistic Director Susan Claassen. This award winning play, starring Samantha Cormier and Damian Garcia, is a funny touching portrait of two people searching for happiness, set in December of 1940. An east-bound cross- country train carries the bodies of the great American writers Nathanael West and F. Scott Fitzgerald. Also on board is May, who shares her seat with a charming young flyer, Raleigh. A change in plans sets the course for a journey filled with emotional struggles, family differences, and ultimately - love.
LAST TRAIN TO NIBROC is a trip worth taking!
"...a gently charming play, reminiscent of Thornton Wilder in its look at rustic Americans who are to be treasured for their simplicity and directness..."
