Tucson: Tucson Teen Counts on Local Support

Dear TTA List Members,

This post is a little off topic, not that I have anything against shameless
self-promotion. I'm not really an American Idol fan for that matter. I
like to limit list announcements to items that are of value to most people
on the list, such as auditions, casting calls, crew calls, classes and
openings. However, today I have a soft spot for a young Tucsonan seaking
the spotlight. Please do not take this as a greenlight to flood me with
self-promotion announcments.

TUCSON TEEN COUNTS ON LOCAL SUPPORT AS SHE HEADS TO AMERICAN IDOL-SEASON 5

August 1, 2005-Tucson, Arizona Tucson teen, TORAH, heads off to San
Francisco in August to audition for the popular Fox show, American Idol.
You've probably seen her perform the National Anthem at various sporting
venues around town. You may have seen her at a fair or festival performing
as Pammy K with her group Wild Angel or singing and dancing with Kids
Unlimited, Protege or Belle Milage. Even if you haven't heard of her YET,
you can count on hearing about her soon. Torah fans are organizing a
gathering at the audition, complete with signs, banners and t-shirts to make
sure their 2005 TUCSON IDOL (not affiliated with Fox)gets through the first
round of competition. TorahNATORS, as they are called, plan to enlist
support for Torah and see that she domiNATES the competition.

The TorahNATORS are counting on help from Tucson locals to come support
Torah. They have put out a call to arms for fans to show up at 6:00 AM on
August 18th at Cow Palace in San Francisco to cheer on their girl. Fan
coordinators will be on scene to ensure fans do not interfere with the
audition process or get hung up in lines. Torah signs and t-shirt transfers
are available for download from her website http://torah-idol.com . A small
quantity may be available at the audition.

Can't make it to San Francisco? Visit Torah's website and show your support
by signing the guest book or forum and remember to tune in to Fox in January
of 2006 and hopefully see your own TUCSON IDOL, Torah, take the stage.
