PROFESSIONAL ACTORS OF ALL AGES AND TYPES SOUGHT TO WORK WITH UNIVERSITY OF
ARIZONA FILMMAKERS

Lisanne Skyler, a film director and new member of the faculty of the
University of Arizona's Dept of Media Arts, is looking for professional
actors to work with BFA filmmakers in rehearsal workshops, as well to
audition for their productions. Fourteen ambitious BFA thesis films are
going into production this Fall starting late October, all with challenging,
dynamic roles for all ages and types. The in-class rehearsal workshops,
modeled after a course Prof. Skyler taught at the American FIlm Institute in
LA for the last three years to film industry professionals, focus on the
actor-director relationship and require a single time commitment of
45 minutes on a volunteer basis. The workshop sessions will take place on
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00am to 11:45 and from 11:45 to 12:15pm, from
October 6th through November 13th. Actors cast in the films will shoot for
approximately five days, from late October through early December.
