Border Songs and Stories- April 9th, 7:00 pm
Troubadour Pablo Peregrina celebrates volunteerism and raising awareness with his newly released CD "Traveling Soles." ZUZI! Dance Company will also be featured accompanying the song "Run, Run, Run." This event will host guest speakers around local border concerns and their special perspectives and stories.
Featured guests include: Margaret Regan reading from her newly released book, "The Death of Josseline: Immigration Stories from the Arizona Mexico Borderlands," Eva Tessler of Borderlands Theater, Maria Sara Villa of ZUZI! Dance Company, and Deborah McCullough of Samaritans who will present her found art display.
In addition, there will be food and networking tables from various local border groups.
$10.00 suggested donation.
