Sorry this is such short notice, but we need actors for auditions Monday, November 1, from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. in the conference room of the Red Roof Inn on Ina Road and I-10. We are doing a book trailer for Can You Hear the Music? and it will be filmed in Patagonia, Arizona between November 8 -14. Transportation will be provided. The book trailer will run for three minutes and will be on youtube, facebook--among others. The producer/director/cameraman's credentials are available upon request.
We are looking for four males and two females: Uncle George ( age in the 50's), Andy (a hobo age in the 60's), Lord Mayor (Hobo with Irish brogue age 60's) Tommy (age 10), , Aunt Lizzie(age 50's),Corey ( girl age 9). The two roles for minors (Tommy and Corey) require parental/guardian consent and participation.
Pay amount and schedule will be discussed at audition. One can go to amazon.com type in Can You Hear the Music? by Sandra Farris and there is a prompt to see inside the book to get an idea about the characters.
