Mixed Nuts, a comedy, at St. Francis Theater November 5th – November 21st

Mixed Nuts is an uproarious and uplifting comedy that follows the adventures of Michael Caldwell, a shy and  aspiring artist, who flees his predictable and sheltered life in the Midwest to move to New York City in a quest to become a prominent writer.   A series of hilarious encounters unfolds as he befriends several unconventional residents of the dilapidated apartment house that he moves into. Among them are a commercial actor who specializes in portraying inanimate objects, a Russian ballerina on the lam from the KGB and a wisecracking, beautiful actress. This highly entertaining play by Nancy Manera and Simon J. Donoghue is directed by Susan Arnold.

Mixed Nuts opens at St. Francis Theater Friday November 5th and runs through Sunday November 21st.  Tickets are $12 to $20.  Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m. with Sunday 2:00 p.m. performances on November 14th and 21st.  Pay-what-you-want preview performance on November 4th at 7:30 with tickets sold only at the door.  Special half-price ticket prices November 5th and 6th with food or cash donations to St. Francis Pantry (see website for details).
