Pima Community College’s Advanced Cinematography class is shooting a film noir set in the 1940’s about a female reporter who when denied advancement by her newspaper’s sexist management ruthlessly manipulates the system to get what she wants. Everything she wants. When she is done, not everyone goes home safe.
Art Deco architecture. Cars with wide fenders. Women with hats and dark red lipstick. Men who smoke without guilt. And like Bogart and Bergman, we will be shooting in black and white.
We are putting together a team who is interested in vintage wardrobe, hair and make up to work on the film, which shoots November 11, 12, 13, and 14 in Tucson using broadcast quality, high definition equipment.
If you want to be part of the wardrobe, hair, and make up team, respond here through craigslist. There is no monetary compensation, but you will get title credit and a copy of the DVD.
