This summer, we will be offering four camps in theatre and music:
First Spotlight Young Actors Camp
Ages 5-10
June 4-15, Mon-Fri 12:30-4:30 PM
Performance Friday June 15
Cost: $245, $25-$50 off for early registration
Musical Production: The Book of 1001 Arabian Nights
Rock, Roll, Repeat!: A Rock 'n' Roll Music Camp
Ages 12-17
June 4-15, Mon-Fri 9:00AM-12:00PM Two weeks, half day camp
Performance Friday June 15 6:30 PM
Cost: $195 tuition, $25-$50 off with early registration
Rock 'n' Roll Music camp, which culminates in a performance of the rock band.
Broadway Bound Musical Theatre Camp:
Ages 8-17
June 18-June 29 Mon-Fri 9:00AM-3:30PM Two Weeks
Performance Friday June 29 5:30 PM
Cost: $295 tuition, $25-$50 off with early registration
Production: Schoolhouse Rock Live!
All levels of experience welcome
Antic Arts Comedy Theatre Camp:
Ages 10-17
July 9-20, Mon-Fri 9:00AM-3:30PM Two Weeks
Performance Friday July 20 5:30 PM
Cost: $295 tuition, $25-$50 off with early registration
Production: Bad Auditions by Bad Actors
All levels of experience welcome.
Theatre Camps: Cover the entire theatrical experience from acting, directing, and playwriting, to theatrical design including costumes, lighting, scenic, and sound design. The musical theatre camp also includes singing and dancing.
The theatre camps will end with a performance of a fully mounted summer stock production of a musical/play for family and friends. All the students in the camp will be given roles in the musical/play. Students will get to help design and build the set and costumes.
Theatre Camps Apprenticeship Program: For students ages 13-17 interested in areas of theatre other than acting. Positions available: assistant director, asst. stage manager, asst. costume designer, asst. set designer. Students are also invited to act in the play/musical if they are interested.
Rock, Roll, Repeat!: A rock 'n' roll music camp for aspiring musicians and singers. One year prior experience with at least one instrument is required. The camp will be taught be local professional musicians and music teachers.
Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided daily, but students are asked to bring their own lunch or buy from our box lunch program for full day camps, except for Fridays when there will be a pizza party.
