Subject: Capoeira Classes now available at KU Studios Starting September 6th!
Capoeira is an exciting Afro-Brazilian artform that incorporates dance and martial arts along with Brazilian music steeped in culture and tradition. A dynamic and expressive form of movement, capoeira challenges your mind, body, and soul all at once and welcomes you into a positive and fantastic community.
Classes are led by David Vick (Monitor Feiticeiro) of Capoeira Mandinga Tucson. He has 10 years of experience in the art and leads regular classes, workshops, participates in capoeira events nationally and internationally, and is a regular performer at Tucson Meet Yourself and The Tucson Festival for Books.
Classes for ages 13 and up begin Saturday, September 6th at 4pm at KU Studios!
Regular classes will be held every Thursday from 8:30pm-10pm and Saturday from 4pm-5:30pm. KU Studios is located at 6066 North Oracle Road, on the corner of Oracle and Rudasill.
