THIS TUESDAY we begin our Fall Season
Industry Performance Factory, 1013 S. Tyndall Ave
We are getting ready to perform WORLD CARNAVAL style at TUCSON MEET YOURSELF the evening of SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11th!
We will be focusing on the rhythms and Carnaval traditions of Maracatu from the Northeastern area of Brazil (Recife and Olinda). We will be part of a large procession as well as a stage performance...it's going to be an outstanding TMY!
Following Tucson Meet Yourself, we will be preparing to participate in the ALL SOULS PROCESSION on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 9th.

Mission
Sol Axé (pronounced, Sol – ah –SHAY) a project under Many Mouths One Stomach, is a nonprofit drum and dance community in Tucson, Arizona. Inspired by the music of Brazil, Sol Axe features the music of many traditions from Brazil, the African Diaspora, and the World. Our intention is to inspire creativity, inclusiveness, community solidarity, and collective JOY, through lessons and classes, outreach programs, workshops, and high energy performances.
