It’s been said – and splashed across to top of the Club Congress stage – that music can sooth the savage beast, but this year’s HoCo Fest might do more to wake one.
The birthday bash for the Club at Hotel Congress features a mind-boggling 30-plus bands and DJs stretching across four days and two stages – one in the Club and one on the patio. Hip-hop? Check. Latin? Check. Bluegrass? Check. The music covers a wide swath of tastes that will have pretty much everyone covered. This is the 10th HoCo Fest and Club Congress’ 29th birthday.
The fun starts Thursday with a free, 18-and-over synth-pop/electronica show traveling the nation under the Red Bull banner, and it ends Sunday with a Latin-flavored closer with a heavy local leanings.
