Subject: "Fall" Into Circus!!!
Our fall session is in full swing!!! We are settling into our full fall schedule, but it is never too late to join and there is no time like the present!
As winter approaches (I know, it seems impossible because its so hot right now!) we are looking for some space heaters and if anyone has any extra laying around that they would be willing to donate, we'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
There is still space in all our classes and I want to highlight a few of them.
In addition to all the most popular classes like Silks and Youth Circus, check out:
Balance- Fridays at 4:00. This class allows students to focus on training in Stilts, Tightwire, Globe Walking and Rola Bola. We also include ballet technique and tumbling in preparation for dancing and doing acrobatics on our apparatus, especially introducing acrobatics on stilts. Its a great way for youth and adults to spend Friday afternoons!
Men's Aerial- Thursdays at 7:00. This class (open to all genders of course:)) is a great class for people who are interested in advancing in conditioning and high strength skills, but don't necessarily need aerial experience. It is a fun and challenging class for those who enjoy a great workout and want to learn skills like meat hooks, front and back levers and iron cross roll ups.
Kinder Circus- Saturday Mornings. We have a great group of 5 and 6 year olds, but did you know we offer class for 3 and 4 year olds? It is a great chance for young children to get an intro in circus arts, movement skills, coordination, flexibility, theater and more!
Juggling- Thursdays 5:30. Our awesome juggling teachers Ryan and Pierre can help you learn pretty much any prop skill you wish. Between them they specialize in Juggling balls and clubs, spinning plates, poi and diabolo and have a background in many other skills as well. A great class for kids and adults to explore and advance their juggling skills!
Our next Family Circus will be Oct. 15th at 5:00. Always a really fun event and can't wait to see all our circus families at the next one!
Our Winter Show Application in now open and is due Oct. 22nd. This year, our Winter Show will be an advanced showcase open to any student in an advanced or focused class (not general beginning class.) We won't be organizing group class pieces. Anyone (youth or adult) wishing to perform should grab an application from me. Students are welcome to organize group pieces or apply to do solos. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
Thanks so much for all your support! Can't wait to see everyone in classes and events!!!
