Casting Call for Spring Show
Sleeping Badly: a Fractured Fairy Tale
Come and join Valley of the Moon for its 2020 Spring Show! Follow the mighty and "fearless" Storyteller as he attempts to share the story of Sleeping Beauty, with a twist. Nobody ever remembers the heroics of the one reading the story though, so The Storyteller has inserted himself as the hero of the show! This doesn't turn out the way he thinks however as he has to contend with enemies (and friends) who wish to change the story by using his magic storytelling book.
Written by Valley of the Moon veteran Leora Renteria and directed by Travis Deyoe and Jessica Taylor, YOU yes you, can join in the fun by becoming part of the show. Both on stage and behind!
We are looking for actors, costumers, set and prop makers, lighting guru's, evil fairies, smug princesses, and cheap magicians with names that rhyme with Nickle!
Casting Call will be March 6th and 7th from 6-8pm. As is custom for Valley of the Moon performances, scripts and volunteer availability forms will be given out at Casting Call. Everyone is welcome and everyone is guaranteed a chance to participate in the show!
