Call For Actors for dramatic readings of new full-length play by Randy Ford at El Ojito Springs Center for Creativity. 
The readings will be held on three nights: May 24-26. 
 
Name of play Daddy's Party.  The play is about an estranged family reunited by the imminent death of an abusing and molesting father.  Some cling to denial; but others seek closure, forgiveness, and answers to the possible murder of a sister.  All end up discovering the old man's love for them.  All of the siblings and mother have substantial roles. 
 
 Characters:  A chance for young actors to play older people
               Dr. Johnson  father, in his eighties, dying, dies.  (None speaking) 
               Mrs. Johnson mother, in her eighties
               Clint  oldest sibling, in his sixties
               Alice  sibling, in her sixties 
               Sally (Dead and does not appear in the play)
               Penny sibling, in her forties
               Jude, sibling, thirty-nine
               Olga, Jude's wife, in her twenties
               Sherman, Sally's husband 
               Nurse (small part so the actor might also be responsible for stage directions.)
