Hello everyone, and happy April!
The Batucaxe Community Group will perform twice this Saturday, April 4, so you have a choice of two FREE events. Even better, both events are outdoors, so you can enjoy Tucson's beautiful spring weather AND Batucaxe's awesome beat - it just doesn't get better than that!
Earth Day 2009Â
When: Sat, April 4, 10:00 â€" 11:30 a.m.
Where:Â Reid Park - North of bandshell (map)
Description:Â Parade at 10. Stage performance 10:30 - 11:30 am
Southern Arizona Language Fair
When Sat, April 4, 1:00 â€" 1:30 p.m.
Where: University of Arizona campus outside, next to Modern Languages Bldg. (east of the Student Union) (map)
Description: Arts & crafts, food vendors and entertainment, representing a variety of cultures.
How much would you pay for all this? But WAIT! There's a THIRD gig on April 4!
Tucson Kitchen Musicians Association Spring Fundraiser
The Batucaxe Performance Group is playing for this benefit.
When: Sat, April 4, 9:00 - 10:00 p.m.
Where: Old Town Artisans, 201 Court Avenue

Batucaxe© Drum school/rehearsal is held on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 pm.
Dance classes are held Sundays from 5-6:15 p.m. with live Drumming!
Both are held at The Rhythm Industry Factory, 1013 S. Tyndall Ave.
