University of Arizona student short film seeking extras for a daytime shoot on Sunday, March 27 near the WIlmot-Broadway area.  No previous acting experience necessary! The scene takes place at an anti-war rally in 1966, so we'll need extras to come dressed in clothing appropriate to that era.  The look we're going for is less like "hippie" and more like "mid-1960s college student."  Here are a couple of wardrobe guidelines:

- NO tie-dyed clothing
- NO sneakers other than Converse All-Stars
- NO unnatural hair colors
- NO clothing with any sort of message, writing, logo, or picture.
- NO T-shirts

WOMEN:
Summer dresses are good, as are peacoat style jackets. For those willing to dress a little more formally, a Jackie Kennedy look is also appropriate (blouses, sweaters, skirts, etc). Closed-toed heels are typical for the era, as are sandals.

MEN:
Your best bet is a just pair of well-fitting jeans and a tucked-in collared button up shirt. Dress shoes and Birkenstock-style sandals are the safest footwear options.

Other than that, you're free to have fun coming up with a wardrobe that suits the period.  Here are a couple of reference photos that might help:
