Announcing the 2011 Troubadour Theatre Summer Camps!

This summer, we will be offering three camps in theatre and music:

Musical Theatre Camp:
Ages 8-17
June 20-July 1 Mon-Fri 9:00AM-3:30PM Two Weeks
Performance Friday July 1 5:30 PM
Cost: $295 tuition, $25-$50 off with early registration
Production: Thoroughly Modern Millie
All levels of experience welcome

Comedy Theatre Camp:
Ages 10-17
July 5-15, Tues-Fri, Mon-Fri 9:00AM-3:30PM Two Weeks
Performance Friday July 15 5:30 PM
Cost: $295 tuition, $25-$50 off with early registration
Production: Action News: Now With 10% More Action!  by Jonathan Rand
All levels of experience welcome.

Rock, Roll, Repeat!: A Rock 'n' Roll Music Camp
Ages 13-17
July 5-15, Tues-Fri, Mon-Fri 9:00AM-12:00PM Two weeks, half day camp
Performance Friday July 15 6:00 PM
Cost: $195 tuition, $25-$50 off with early registration
Rock 'n' Roll Music camp, which culminates in a performance of the rock band.  Previous experience required.


Theatre Camps: Cover the entire theatrical experience from acting, directing, and playwriting, to theatrical design including costumes, lighting, scenic, and sound design. The musical theatre camp also includes singing and dancing.

The theatre camps will end with a performance of a fully mounted summer stock production of a musical/play for family and friends. All the students in the camp will be given roles in the musical/play. Students will get to help design and build the set and costumes.

Theatre Camps Apprenticeship Program: For students ages 13-17 interested in areas of theatre other than acting. Positions available: assistant director, asst. stage manager, asst. costume designer, asst. set designer. Students are also invited to act in the play/musical if they are interested.

Rock, Roll, Repeat!: A rock 'n' roll music camp for aspiring musicians and singers. One year prior experience with at least one instrument is required.  The camp will be taught be local professional musicians and music teachers.

Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided daily, but students are asked to bring their own lunch or buy from our box lunch program for full day camps, except for Fridays when there will be a pizza party.
