Hi everyone,

The Lisa Otey & Friends Series continues Monday, Aug. 27 with soulful jazz singer Anna Anderson. 

"R&B singer Anna Anderson is equally comfortable in a cabaret as an opera house. Her repertoire covers more than 300 songs that cross blues, neo-soul, R&B, country and jazz. Her theater and opera roles in recent years have included "The Color Purple" at Pima Community College and a spot in the chorus with Arizona Opera's production last fall of Mascagni's "Cavalleria Rusticana" and Leoncavallo's "Pagliacci." (Cathalena Burch, Arizona Daily Star).

On Monday, Anna will perform an eclectic mix of music which showcases the many facets of her talent, including songs from "Cabaret", "Ain't Misbehavin'", Patsy Cline, Adele, and Billie Holiday, whom Anna will portray later this fall in the stage production, "Lady Day at Emerson Bar and Grill". Lisa will open the show with her own set and will accompany Anna as well. You don't want to miss it!
