Auditions:      Publicity release/Audition notice    SCSP’s “The Miser”

 

     Santa Cruz Shoestring Players launch their fifth season of shows with Moliere’s “The Miser.”  Auditions will be on Tuesday, August 28 and Wednesday, August 29 at 6 p.m. at the Community Performance and Arts Center in Green Valley, AZ, 1250 W. Continental Road.

     This classic French comedy requires six male actors: two 20’s-30’s, two mature, and two any age. (One of the actors will play three separate roles.) There are roles for three women: two 20’s and one any age.

     Audition process will involve cold readings from the script. Interested parties with no prior acting experience are welcome to audition.

     Rehearsals begin September 10 and continue on Mon., Wed., and Thurs. evenings through October 18.

     Performances are Oct. 25-27 and Nov 2-3 at 7:00p.m. and Thurs., Nov. 1 at 2p.m.
