The TheatreLab is NOW ACCEPTING Registration for Fall Classes beginning on Sunday, September 9 through October 29, 2012

 

The Bennett TheatreLab offers Professional training in the Stanislavsky System’s Ultimate Technique: Active Analysis through Physical Actions.

 

…a working environment created for the dedicated professional and serious novice. 

It exists so that the teachings of Konstantin Stanislavsky can be constantly absorbed and brought to life successfully in any acting arena.  The Lab is a place for purposeful, truthful psychophysical actions.

Respect for fellow actors and text. 

It is a safe place for mutual spiritual growth and artistic expression. 

 

Schedule of Classes:

Classes meet on Sunday and Monday Evenings, 6:30 to 9:30 pm

Mr. Bennett is an internationally recognized master instructor of the Stanislavsky System of Acting and received his advanced degree in Theatre Arts and Sciences from the prestigious American Stanislavski Theatre in New York, where he also served as Instructor, Actor and Assistant Artistic Director to émigré actress, teacher and director Sonia Moore of the Moscow Art Theatre.  He is the founder of the San Francisco Theatre Academy and three time recipient of the Hollywood Dramalogue Award for best Direction.  He is currently working with his co-writer, Prof. Stephanie French on a University and Conservatory textbook, to be published in mid-2013 by Routledge Academic Publishers, London.
