VIDEOGRAPHER, Part Time

The primary responsibilities of the videographer include capturing of video and still images for the production of narrative fiction and journalism.  Secondary responsibilities will vary based on the skill set offered by the candidate.  Candidate must be motivated, enthusiastic, creative, dependable, and flexible enough to work on a small team and take on additional duties.  The best candidates will be quick learners, well educated, multi-talented, and have great marketing, communication, and social skills.  An understanding and interest in board games is a huge plus.  Some travel may be required.  Weekend work will be required.

 

Pay: DOE ($8-$14/hr)

 

Skills and Qualifications

Candidate must have…

A demonstrated understanding of lighting, composition, and camera use.

A four year education or equivalent experience.

 

Other helpful skills and may experience include…

A demonstrated understanding of animation or special effects.

A background in journalism or film production.

Experience and understanding of audio engineering.

Craftiness, resourcefulness, and a thrift shopper for props and other needs of the set.
