Subject: '8 the Play' Audition Notice
On November 8th, Beowulf Alley Theatre is producing a staged reading of ‘8 the play’. ‘8’ is a staged interpretation of the federal trial to overturn California's Prop 8, which prohibited same sex marriage. We are seeking a diverse cast of compassionate and committed artists to be a part of what has become a national movement in theatrical advocacy. We are looking for men aged 16-60s and women aged 20-50 to portray the lawyers, judge, and witnesses for the trial. Auditions are Thursday, 0ct. 4th at 6:00pm and Saturday, Oct. 6th at 2:30pm.
