Beowulf Alley Theatre Company presents

Glengarry Glen Ross

By

David Mamet

Beowulf Alley Theatre Company presents David Mamet's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Glengarry Glen Ross, November 2nd through November 18th, Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2:30pm at Beowulf Alley Theatre, 11 S 6th Ave in downtown Tucson. Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors, teachers and military personnel, and only $8 for students.

Glengarry Glen Ross tells the tragic-comic tale of real estate agents fighting and fomenting under the incredible pressure of always closing a deal. Funny, frantic and melancholy, Mamet's take on salesmen is timeless and terrifyingly hilarious. This show contains a tremendous amount of profanity. It's David Mamet. This production is presented by special license from the Samuel French Company.

This scalding comedy took Broadway and London by storm. Here is Mamet at his very best, writing about small-time, cutthroat real estate salesmen trying to grind out a living by pushing plots of land on reluctant buyers in a never-ending scramble for their share of the American dream. Recently revived on Broadway this masterpiece of American drama became a celebrated film which starred Al Pacino, Jack Lemmon, Alec Baldwin and Alan Arkin.

"Crackling tension… ferocious comedy and drama." - The New York Times

"Wonderfully funny… A play to see, remember and cherish." - New York Post
