Eligibility: Open to All Poets and Aspiring Poets

Deadline: Friday, October 26th 2012
CONTEST GUIDELINES AND REQUIRED FORMAT
Any original, unpublished poem related to the theme. All entries should be titled. (The use of the first line of any poem may suffice for title.)
Any poetry form may be utilized.
Each entry has a 32-line limit.
Each contestant may enter one poem only.
Submit one (1) clearly typed copy of your poem (in English only), on 8 1/2 x 11 white paper, without lines or illustrations. Do not put your name on this page. On a separate identification page, type the title of your poem, the first 2 lines of the poem AND your identification information, including name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.
Any entry deemed offensive will not be accepted.
Submit entry by e-mail to info@arts-express.org or by US mail to PMB 138, 4729 E. Sunrise, Tucson, AZ 85718. All entries submitted by either method must be received by Friday, October 26th.
No entries will be returned.
OTHER INFORMATION
Poems received by deadline will be sent to a qualified ASPS judge. Judge decisions are final. Winners will be announced on Thursday, November 1st by telephone/e-mail. Winning poems will be displayed on the Arts Express website and will be read at the Arts Expresso event on Sunday, November 4th at St. Philip’s Plaza. Prizes will be awarded to winners at the Arts Expresso event. Need not be present to win. 1st Place: $100 gift basket from Bookman’s. 2nd ($50 value) and 3rd ($25 value) Places will also be awarded
