Subject: Actors: Children; Seniors; Latinos.
Nine Buddhas Pictures is shooting a political parody called No on 70. It is a series of couplets in which one side advocates a YES vote on a imaginary proposition called Proposition 70 and the other side advocates for a NO vote. Part of the parody is that we never learn what Proposition 70 is.
We are beginning shooting on Wednesday evening (October 24), but intend to set up additional days and times (so if Wednesday October 24 doesn't work for you will should be able to schedule you on one of the latter dates). It should take about two hours to shoot each of the scenes identified below.
We are seeking:
Two children one of whom will be arguing that the audience should be vote Yes on 70, because children are our future; the other child will be arguing that the audience should vote No on Seventy because children are our future. The children can be male or female, age 5 to 14 (race unimportant). A parent must be on set the entire time any child is shooting. Alternatively we would be interested in a mother with an infant in her arms with the mother delivering the same lines. Vote Yes or No on 70, because children are our future.
We are also seeking two seniors (65 to 90) (male or female) (race unimportant) one who will be an advocate for Proposition 70, because they have a limited income; the other who will oppose Proposition 70 because they will take away social security.
Finally we are also seeking two bilingual Latinos (age and gender not important) one who will advocate for 70 in Spanish, the other who will oppose 70 in Spanish.
There is no monetary compensation on this project, but you will get a digital copy of the file sent in real time through You Send It and fame and glory from title credit.
Reply here, indicating which role you are interested in, and we will set up a date and time.
