REVEILLE MEN’S CHORUS RECRUITING SINGERS FOR 19th SEASON

Reveille Men’s Chorus is now actively recruiting men to sing with us for our Nineteenth season. We will begin with a Karaoke Recruiting Party on Saturday, August 17th from 6 to 9 PM at Club Congress, 311 E. Congress St., and open rehearsals starting at 7:00 PM on each of the following three Monday evenings (8-19, 8-26, and 9-2). Rehearsals are held at the Rincon Congregational Church located at 122 N. Craycroft and occur every Monday evening with a four week winter break in December.

This season’s performances will be FABULOUS!:
- A winter concert (“It’s a Fabulous Life” on Dec. 6,7,and 8)
- A spring concert (“Simply Fabulous” on May 3rd and 4th)
- A special joint concert in Puerto Vallarta Mexico with the Puerto Vallarta Men’s Chorus
(“Como se dice Fabulous?”) during their pride celebration the weekend of May 24th, 2014.

You do not need to be a professional singer or be able to sight read music in order to perform with Reveille, but you do need to be able to hold a note and not sound like a wounded animal. If in doubt, come check us out!

Reveille Men's Chorus, which began in 1995 as a gay men's community chorus with an array of singers has grown, transitioned and taken flight into a community institution of seasoned performers with an added public health focus on HIV/AIDS awareness, education and prevention.

Under the leadership of artistic director, Shawn Cullen, Reveille continues to change lives through music via its community outreach, volunteer work and musical productions filled with humor and heart. Reveille Men's Chorus is dedicated to musical excellence and performs worldwide to promote human rights, diversity and a world free of AIDS.

Reveille is also pleased to announce that Mr. Cullen has accepted the position of interim Artistic Director of Desert Voices, our sister GALA chorus here in Tucson (www.desertvoices.org).
