Studio Connections Youth Theatre registering for its fall session

STUDIO CONNECTIONS YOUTH THEATRE, in collaboration with ST. FRANCIS IN THE FOOTHILLS CREATIVE ARTS PROGRAM, is now registering for its fall session.

 

Classes begin Saturday, September 7, 2013 and conclude with performances on November 14th -16th

 

STUDENTS Ages 8-12 meet Saturdays 9:15 to 10:30 AM

This is a theatre class for young actors, emphasizing stage movement, vocal technique, creative games, and development of critical personal and social skills. The class will culminate in a collaborative performance project. Tuition: $295

 

STUDENTS Ages 13 - 18 meet Saturdays @ 11:00 to 12:30

and Wednesdays @ 4:00-5:30 PM

 

This is a theatre class for middle to high school students emphasizing vocal, physical, improvisation, and performance skills required for traditional spoken drama or musical theatre production including audition and rehearsal skills, with continued emphasis on personal development. This class will culminate in a performance showcase. Tuition: $495

 

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required (applied toward tuition).

Scholarships are available to qualified families.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

 

ROBERT ENCILA (www.studioconnections.net) is a professional singer, actor, and director of over 100 productions. He is also a certified master teacher with 23 years experience in various public and private schools, training students from the early grades through college and beyond. He has appeared locally with Borderlands Theater and Arizona Theatre Company and is a frequent performer at BB King’s and The Birdland in New York City. He is a member of Actors Equity Association and works currently at St. Augustine High School, teaching Advanced Theatre, Choir, Piano, Guitar, and Music Theory/Composition. He is a husband and father of three lovely daughters.
