Come hear the most beautiful choral music ever written! Be transported by the ethereal harmonies of Howells' "Take Him Earth for Cherishing." Experience the warmth and strength of the Brahms' "Fest-Und Gedenkspruche." Revel in the ecstatic joy and profound sorrow of Barber's "Reincarnations."

Enjoy other works including "Walking on the Green Grass," favorites from the Renaissance to the present day, and the world premiere of "Why do I Wander" by Helios chorister and UA undergraduate composition major Joshua Bachar.

The Helios Ensemble was founded in the summer of 2014 by Benjamin Hansen to provide an opportunity for non-professional singers to have a chance to perform classical choral music at a professional level. The Helios approach uniquely empowers the amateur singer through creative vocal pedagogy, private voice lessons and inspired conducting. The Helios Ensemble is a 501 (c) 3 tax deductible Arizona Non-Profit Corporation.
