The TheatreLab is dedicated to the training of both novice and professional actors for a career in theatre and film based on the Stanislavsky System's Psychophysical Actions.

Stanislavsky Teaching Artist, Philip G. Bennett, will introduce you to Stanislavsky's inspired ideas about the actor's creative process and how Psychophysical training improves your acting skills.  You will be introduced to the tools of the Technique while working on yourself as an actor and working on a character from a play.  Phil has been training actors in the System since 1969 and is internationally recognized as one of the foremost authorities of Stanislavsky's teachings.  His textbook, Experiencing Stanislavsky today:  Training and performance for the Psychophysical Actor is to be released by Routledge Academic Publishers, London and New York in September of 2015.
