Experience the power of the arts with the Behind the Scenes – Broadway and More program. Learn first-hand how Broadway actors and other world-class artists made it to the top, what life is like on the road or how the production team creates “magic” on the stage. Provided in collaboration with Broadway in Tucson, this day-long package includes a theatre workshop with a standout professional artist, lunch/dinner, a behind the scenes look at the show’s production and admission to the show!
Workshop Description
Yodel-ay-hee-hoo! In the tradition of the Alps, the Sound of Music features yodeling in several of its classic songs. Take on this distinctive style that has charmed the world for generations. Find out how yodeling was first a form of communication and through the years transformed into a vocal technique used by modern pop stars.

The Hills Are Alive! A brand new production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC, directed by three-time Tony Award® winner Jack O’Brien, is coming to Tucson. The beloved musical story of Maria and the von Trapp Family will once again thrill audiences with its Tony®, Grammy® and Academy Award® winning Best Score, including “My Favorite Things,” “Edelweiss” and the title song.
