Hello all,
I've just been told that everything is set for a stand up comedy film. If you happen to be in the Tucson, Arizona area on Sunday, July, 27th 2008 come by and see the show. It is advised to reserve in advance which you can do by telling me the number in your party via e-mail and I'll pass it along to the production folks. Please do your best to reserve for those who will actually be there so we can fill the theater.

On Sunday, July 27th at 7pm the final part of the short film "Comedy is Not a Joke" will be filmed at Live Theater Workshop in Tucson, Arizona. The concept was to give a comedic actor (me) a stand up comedy routine and see what would happen if he were to perform the routine with no training in front of a live audience.

The show will be about an hour long and will be a charity event with a portion of the proceeds going to Live Theater Workshop, a theater company that has educational programs, including but not limited to drama classes for schools that have no arts programs, and the Tucson Boys Chorus Travel Fund.

Several professional comedians will perform to provide contrast to my performance (including my friend Brian Mulligan and Daniel Geffre among others) so this should be a great show. There will even be some special bonus content which may become a separate posting on You tube and similar sites. I think you'll dig it.

The finished product will be shown at film festivals and will eventually be posted on YouTube and possibly other sites online.

Admission will be $7.50 and will be limited to 95 seats so reserve now.

To reserve seats, please contact me ASAP by replying to this e-mail using the subject line "Comedy" with your name and the number of people in your party. Again, please do your best to reserve for those who will actually be there so we can fill the theater. A bigger audience creates an electric atmosphere that will make this film look great and of course we do want to generate revenue for the charities and make this worth the time of our professional comedians.

Cheers and God bless you all and please do spread the word to your friends and family to help us fill those seats.

Eric
