Plot: An undertaker devises a plan involving a solid brass coffin to make a huge profit on the funeral of the wealthiest man in town. He wants the money to send his daughter to a New York dance school to escape her romance with a kid he thinks is a loser. Urged on by his friend the doctor, the undertaker goes to extreme measures that backfire in interesting ways. Revelations, complications, and humor abound in this story by one of Hollywood’s most prolific screenwriters.
