Enjoy lunch at your seat while you watch this engrossing new comedy, directed by Sheldon Metz, about a man who wants to enjoy a quiet evening at home, but who keeps getting interrupted by the voices of his two wives.

 

Tickets: $12. when you order a bag lunch prepared by CHRIS’ CAFÉ from Beowulf by 9 a.m. the day of performance. Choices are tuna salad, chicken salad or veggie sandwiches with chips, drink and dessert. Or bring in your own bag lunch and just pay $6 for the performance only.

Sheldon Metz is a recent immigrant to Tucson (from Los Angeles). Sheldon has been active in professional and community theatre for 48 years. He is an multi-award-winning actor/director/set designer. In November, he directed the World Premiere of Noche de los Muertos for BATC, followed in April, 2009, by the highly acclaimed, Proof. In L.A., he was founder and executive director of A.C.C.T., too! (The Association of Community and Commercial Theatres), and served as producing director for the P.K.E., Professional Playreading Series. Sheldon directs theatre for the love of it and with the permission of his wife, Linda, whom he thanks especially for this one.

Warren G. Bodow, a part-time Tucson resident since 2005, has written a number of plays presented at Beowulf Alley and at other theaters in Tucson. Most recently, his new full-length play Race Music was presented as a staged reading in connection with Beowulf Alley’s Reader’s Theater. Mr. Bodow’s three short plays about Valentine’s Day were the February offerings for Beowulf Alley’s Out to Lunch Theater. His full-length play, Harry the Hunk on His Way Out, was stage read at Beowulf Alley prior to its New York Equity Showcase run in 2007. Mr. Bodow, a retired radio executive, lives with his wife, Ellen, in Tucson and in New York City.
